Timu ya taifa ya vijana chini ya miaka 17 Serengeti Boys imetwaa ubingwa wa CECAFA U17 Championship nchini Burundi baada ya kuwafunga Somalia 2-0 katika mchezo wa fainali.

Mashindano hayo ni mwendelezo wa maandalizi kuelekea fainali za Afrika wa vijana wa umri huo ambapo Tanzania itakuwa mwenyeji wa michuano hiyo.

Baada ya mchezo kumalizika kocha wa timu hiyo Oscar Milambo amezungumzia mashindano kwa ujumla na nini ambacho wamekipata kama timu kuelekea fainali za mwakani.

  • Assist in undertaking audit and special investigation, inspection and surprise checks and give results there on. 
  • Attending to any other duties as may from time to time be assigned by the Audit and Risk Management Board Committee. 

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have;
  • Degree in Finance, Banking or Accounting with relevant professional training in Risk management.
  • Three (3) years working experience in banking industry dealing with Audit, Risk Management. 
  • He/she must possess CPA or equivalent and be registered with professional bodies like National Board of Accountancy and Auditors (NBAA), The institute of Internal Auditors Tanzania, ACCA,CISA.

The position is based out of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and will require frequent travel to rural areas.
  • Manage a team of field sales and marketing team to acquire customers for Husk mini-grids
  • Champion customers’ growth through great marketing initiatives: master the intersection between the value of the product and the prospective user
  • Speak with hundreds of customers to focus on the right strategies to recommend the most competitive, context-appropriate sales and marketing
  • Dream of Husk customer base and constantly strive to make them our biggest sales enablers to ultimately exponentially grow our sales pipeline

Responsibilities

Customer Acquisition for new projects

Run marketing campaigns at Husk new mini-grid sites to acquire customers and then train them to use electricity in the best possible manner
Manage site customer team and coordinate with site level operations team to increase Husk customer penetration to over 80% of the total population within 12 months

Product upselling

Develop a portfolio of electrical appliances for customers and the associated pay plans to increase customer energy usage
Develop an executable strategy for increasing average revenue per customer YoY
Help find suppliers for electrical appliances in order to reduce costs and increase profitability

Site sales team

Recruit field level sales associates and train them to help meet customer acquisition and product sales targets
Motivate and lead a high performance sales team that drives customer sales and revenue growth.
Ensure that each mini-grid site has a mix of at least 50% revenue coming from commercial customers (shops, restaurants, agro-processing mills, telecom towers, etc)
Increase revenue by driving energy demand through internal programs and marketing campaigns to promote productive uses of electricity (like running lathe machines, welding machines etc)
Develop appliance sales strategy to encourage our customers to acquire well known branded appliances like LED TVs, brushless ceiling fans, refrigerators and freezers

Customer Satisfaction and Service

Exceeding customer expectation is what Husk aspires to do every day. You will be responsible for developing a customer satisfaction model and tracking customer satisfaction on a monthly basis
Ensure that customer satisfaction matrix is deployed at multiple tiers and develop communication process to deliver best in class customer care
Develop customer service processes and service level agreements

Education

Bachelor’s degree is required; a relevant advanced degree is strongly preferred
MBA preferred

Relevant Experience in years:
  • 5+ years of total experience in sales function
  • Experience in B2C sales with hands-on experience in acquiring end customers or selling products directly to end customers
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadline in an independent capacity. To be a self-starter and self-motivator, working effectively with minimal direction

  • Diploma /Certificate in Store keeping/Procurement/Logistic
  • Minimum 2 years of experience from working as storekeeper in a humanitarian/recovery context
  • Fluency in English and Kiswahili, both written and verbal
  • Experienced with Warehousing management
  • Competency in computer skills (Microsoft Office applications)

Waziri wa Afya Apiga Marufuku Kuuza Dawa za Maralia




Serikali kupitia Wizara ya Afya, Maendeleo ya Jamii, Jinsia, Wazee na Watoto imeendelea na msisitizo wa vituo vya Afya, Zahanati na Hospitali za serikali kuacha tabia ya kuuza dawa za kutibu malaria nchini na endapo mtoa huduma ataenda kinyume na hilo atachukuliwa hatua stahiki dhidi yake.


Hayo yamesemwa na Waziri wa Afya, Maendeleo ya Jamii, Jinsia, Wazee na Watoto Mhe. Ummy Mwalimu wakati alipotembelea Zahanati ya Mwandiga iliyopo wilayani Kigoma Mkoa wa Kigoma katika akiwa anangalia hali ya matibabu dhidi ya malaria wilayani humo kuelekea kilele cha siku ya Malaria Duniani.

"Nawaagiza waganga wakuu wa Mikoa na Wilaya kuweka matangazo yanayooonyesha kipimo cha haraka cha Malaria, dawa za kutibu Malaria ya mseto na sindano ya kutibu malaria kali ni bure kwenye kila zahanati, kituo cha afya na hospitali ya serikali", amesema Waziri Ummy.

Aidha, Waziri Ummy amewataka waganga wakuu wa vituo ngazi za zahanati na waganga wakuu wa wilaya waweke namba zao za simu kwenye vituo vya kutolea huduma za afya nchini ili kuwasaidia Watanzania kutoa malalamiko yao pindi wanapopatiwa huduma ambazo za hazikidhi viwango ili kubendelea kuboresha huduma za afya nchini.

Waziri Ummy amesema kuwa katika kujikinga na Malaria wananchi wanatakiwa kutumia vyandarua vyenye dawa, kusafisha mazingira na kuondoa mazalia ya mbu waenezao ugonjwa huo kwani kinga ni bora kuliko tiba.

Sambamba na hilo Waziri Ummy ametoa vyandarua vyenye dawa ya kukinga dhidi ya Malaria katika kijiji cha Mwandiga ili kuendelea na juhudi za kutokomeza Malaria nchini katika kuelekea siku ya Malaria Duniani.

Mbeya City Wamwendea Kumchongea Obrey Chirwa TFF



MBEYA City imesema haikubaliani na namna ambavyo mchezo wao dhidi ya Yanga ulivyo­chezeshwa jijini hapa hivi karibuni na hivyo wana­kata rufaa kupinga upa­tikanaji wa bao la Yanga kwa kuwa haikuwa rafu.

Katibu Mkuu wa Mbeya City, Emmanuel Kimbe amesisitiza mjini hapa kwamba wamekasirishwa na maamuzi mabovu ya mwamuzi Shomary Lawi ambaye alionekana kushindwa kuumudu mchezo huo uliokumbwa na vurugu za ndani na nje ya uwanja.

Kimbe alidai kuwa hiyo ni mara ya pili kwa mwamuzi huyo kutoa maamuzi mabovu huku akikumbushia mchezo wa mzunguko wa kwanza kati ya Mbeya City dhidi ya Stand United uliyochezwa mwaka jana mkoani Shinyanga.

“Tunakata rufaa kupinga maamuzi mabovu ambayo yalitolewa kwenye mchezo wetu dhidi ya Yanga ,faulo ile ambayo ilizaa bao la Yanga haikuwa halali lakini pia tunatoa malalamiko yetu juu ya faulo ambayo aliicheza Chirwa dhidi ya Ramadhan Malima,” alisema Kimbe.

Pia Kimbe alizungumzia sakata la mchezaji Eliud Ambokile ambaye alitolewa na nafasi yake kuchukuliwa na Danny Joram mnamo dakika ya 96 kisha baadae kuingia tena.

“Eliud Ambokile ni kweli alifanyiwa mabadiliko lakini wakati yanafanyika alikuwa hajui kuwa nafasi yake imechukuliwa na mtu mwingine ,lakini cha ajabu mwamuzi namba mbili alimuuliza Eliud kama anaweza kuendelea na baadae Eliud akaruhusiwa kuingia,”alisema kiongozi huyo ambaye amehusika na mikataba yote ya udhamini wa Mbeya City.

“Wakati Eliud anarudi uwanjani mwalimu Ramadhani Nsanzurwimo aliinuka na kumfuata mwamuzi wa mezani kumtaka amjulishe mwamuzi kuwa kuna mtu ameingia wakati akiwa amefanyiwa mabadiliko na ndipo viongozi wa Yanga nao wakamfuata mwamuzi na kuanza kumlalamikia,” alisema Kimbe.

Mbeya City wanaendelea na maandalizi kwa ajili ya mchezo wao dhidi ya Singida United utakaochezwa siku ya Ijumaa.

Liverpool Kupimana Nguvu na AS Roma Leo

Tokeo la picha la Liverpool

Vita ya Ligi ya Mabingwa Barani Ulaya inaendelea tena usiku wa leo ambapo Liverpool wata kuwa wanaikaribisha AS Roma kwenye Dimba la Anfield.

Liverpool waliingia hatua ya nusu fainali baada ya kuing'oa Manchester City kwa jumla ya mabao 5-1 huku nyota wake Mohamed Salah aking'aa.

AS Roma nao walitinga hatua hiyo kufuatia kupindua matokeo dhidi ya vinara wa ligi nchini Spain, FC Barcelona.

Mechi hiyo ambayo inasubiriwa kwa hamu na wadau wengi wa soka duniani, itaanza majira ya saa 3 na dakika 45 za usiku.

Baada ta mtanange huo, kesho pia ligi hiyo itaendelea kesho kwa Bayern Munich kuikaribisha Real Madrid kutoka Spain.
